I just had a hard time connecting with the characters, I did get one of the suspects right lol so I was proud of that. I did enjoy that it would have me looking back into previous chapters to see if I had picked up any clues. It was still well written regardless of my connection to the characters, there were times I laughed out loud, times I gasped and was open mouthed shocked. A good book to read after work

I enjoyed this story and look forward to the next one, even when the twins were irritating me to no end, I hope we can dive deeper into the aunts and Marie's relationships and why they fell apart. Valentina pissing me off idk if she's going to have a redemption arc or what but she needs to get it a grip and get it together.

I was surprised that I actually really enjoyed this book as much as I did, don't get me wrong I hated almost all the characters but honestly that's kind of the point lol sometimes the inner monologue of the MC could be a tad bit winded but overall I enjoyed this book, I was first listening to the audiobook but I got so involved in the story I had to go pick up the physical copy to really finish it off iykyk. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because it felt like it was missing something don't ask me what cause idk but just a feeling so it's a high 4.75 ⭐ for me
This book fell short because the characters were basically one note I couldn't distinguish between the two except that one has a dead mom and one has an undead one. The world building wasn't there, it had potential if it were more fleshed out. I did enjoy the read so it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good.
