I read this in a single sitting and I loved it a lot! This is about a lover who loves their significant other more than they ever loved them. There are a couple of people for me that this fits for, but I've learned to let them go. I think about them from time to time though.
"i used to fight so hard, and with everything in me, to hold onto you... to hold onto us. now i'm fighting with everything in me to let go of you, and to let go... of us"
"and if i'm honest, i don't believe you ever truly loved me you just got a little lonely at night, and you loved that i loved you"
"because you never think that the last time is the last time you think there will be more you think you have forever, but you don't"
The last quote is here as one of my favorites because it can go for anyone, not just a lover.

I picked this up from the library and read it in a single sitting! It was sad, yet cute at the same time! I loved it!

This one was okay. It kept losing my interest and it took me forever to finish, but it had a good message behind it.

It seemed quite poetic that I start and end this month with a poetry book. This one was okay. Not my favorite poetry book that I've read, but it was definitely still a good one. I loved the message. It is usually the poetry books that I relate to the most that are my favorites. While I can relate to her father leaving and abandoning her, my mother was amazing! I still enjoyed reading about her healing process though. Here are my favorite quotes.
"As a child, I was told to cry for help. Cry for help when you feel unsafe. Cry for help when you feel scared. Cry for help when you feel weak. Cry for help when you feel defenceless. As a child, I cried for help. And in return, I was told to stop crying. A child’s cry is deafened when it’s a cry against their family."
"The shadows of my childhood dance into my adulthood. They appear when I raise my voice out of anger. They appear when I hide from moments of uncertainty. They appear when I sit in moments of sadness. They appear when I hold onto meaningless grudges. They appear when I push away supportive hands. They appear when I mirror the people I spent my childhood fearing I’d turn into."

Wow! Such a satisfying ending for this series! I loved it so much! I finished the entire series in less than a week! These books made me angry, laugh, gasp, and cry all at the same time. I hated what happened to Lana. The town got what they deserved and I felt justice was being delivered right along with Lana. The killer, that framed her father, got what he deserved and it was very satisfying to read. I love Logan and Lana so much! Logan made me angry with what he did at the end of the last book, but he made up for it in this one and that made me happy.
"Love is not supposed to be beautiful. It’s supposed to be a raw, gritty struggle that forces you to face the most vulnerable parts of yourself, so that when the good times come, you can savor and enjoy them, fully appreciate what they’re worth. Otherwise, you take it all for granted. —Lana Myers"
"I hope she fucking kills every last person with a badge who didn’t come to save her when she was left to bleed out."
"The wicked can fake nobility, just as the damned can fake innocence. But only the truth will rise from the ashes when we all start to burn. —Victoria Evans"

Oh my gosh!!! I ate this one up! I couldn't stop reading this book once I started and I've been thinking about it all day! I was just waiting for my breaks so I could finish it! This series gets better with every book! I can't wait to see how this ends!
"To the living, we owe respect, but to the dead, we owe only the truth. —Voltaire"
"Touch him again, and I’ll burn the town to the ground with everyone still in it."
"“I’ll never just bend over and take it, SSA Bennett. Unless I’m bending over for you, of course.”"
"I thought love would rip my heart out. I thought it would set me on fire. Instead, it turned me into ice."

I ate this book up! I can't wait to see how this series ends! I love it so much and I've convinced one of my friends to read the series. This was so good!! I should have read this series a lot sooner! Like as soon as I heard about it. I've been missing out! As always here are some of my favorite quotes!
"Romantics always believe in revenge, because romantics love harder, suffer loss more painfully, and hold onto a grudge that has shattered their hearts. Their hearts are of the greatest importance, above all else—body, soul, or mind."
"“I’m back, motherfuckers,” I say quietly as we pass the town hall. “And I’m going to make your life hell before I paint your town red.”"
"It’s everything I need and more. He’s everything I wish I could be. A hero. A hero loved by a monster."
And this last quote just makes me laugh, so I have to share it.
"Holy fucking ninja assassin."

Wow! Just wow! This whole series so far has been amazing! I've been eating it up! If it wasn't 2 in the morning and if I didn't have to work later today, I'd be starting the next one! I can't wait to read the next book and the rest of the series!
"But they’re looking for a monster. Not a girl who loves red. Not a girl who is falling in love. Not a girl who died ten years ago."
"It’s sad that I want to hide my bodies now so that my boyfriend gets a break and can spend more time with me."
"A serial killer sharing a house with a homicide detective and a FBI agent. Life doesn’t get more complicated than this."
"There’s a certain high you get from fooling the world into thinking you’re the lamb instead of the rabid wolf."
"“Keep me awake while I drive,” I tell her, not commenting on any of the other. “You want me to tell you about how I broke my vibrator this morning?” I swerve the car, cursing as a horn blares. “Logan? You okay?” she asks, sounding genuinely concerned. “Yeah,” I grumble. “Fine. How’d you break your vibrator?”"
"It’s all cloak and dagger right now. That’s what happens when you’re a serial killer dating a FBI profiler who hunts serial killers."

This book was beautiful! I've had it in my kindle library for a little while now and I finally decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I smiled and I felt like crying. It was just so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. This also made me think of my younger sister, so I'm going to try to get her to read it too!

This was so good! I kept seeing this series in my Facebook book groups and I finally decided to give it a try. It was so great! I love it! I can't wait to read the next book! I'll probably start it sometime today.
