I loved this book!! And devoured about 50% in a day

Give me: single dad x nanny, forced proximity, drunken marriage in Vegas, secret relationship and best friends brother, small town romance and I will eat it up every time!!

I love a book with long term mutual crushes, it adds such a great depth to the characters and builds so much yearning

I really enjoyed the plot of this book and glad that it continued strongly throughout rather than being lost under all the spice in the second half, like what happened with the previous books in this series

The kid is adorable and I love the friendship between her and the main female character

If you love small town romance you'll love this series, it's so good and I highly recommend this book in pa ticular, it'll be great to read over the summer

- small town romance

- drunken marriage in Vegas

Thank you to Penguin Cornerstone / Evermore Books and NetGalley for the eARC - all opinions are my own

I adored this book!!

Marriage in crisis is my new fave trope (i havent read many books with this trope but will be looking for more instantly)

I like that there isnt a tonne of drama as to why their relationship broke down you could tell how much they still cared for each other but just needed a little push to get back on the same page and I loved experiencing it with them

The third act conflict/drama/i dont know what to call it, i didnt see coming, i was so shocked

I loved seeing more of Win and Bo and i love this little family/friendship group

I love Hannahs writing and cant wait to read more of her books

- marriage in crisis
- high school sweethearts
- hiking retreat (and theyre not outdoorsy people)
- spicy scenes outdoors
- forced proximity
- dual timeline / flashbacks
- single pov, 1st person

Idk I just couldn't get into this book, when the main characters were together it was cute but separately I kinda didn't like them and I was bored

This was a good listen, I enjoyed the main character and how she took ownership for the hurt she caused when she was hurting.
