Do not like the undertones of sexual slave stuff. The author has done this before with actual slaves in a previous book, but they always make it appear bad, yet it still feels uncomfortable. I suppose it is meant to be.

This novel was so atmospheric; it was palpable. I was really rooting for the character even though I knew how it would end as the author doesn't make it a secret the tone of the novel. Really amazing!
