major content warning for alcoholic parents. it’s cute but not my cup of tea overall. if i find the rest at a library i’d probably read them but otherwise i probably won’t.

edit: after thinking about it, no i won’t

i love alice oseman. i’ve read the entire heartstopper series multiple times. i picked this up bc it had nick and charlie in it and tori is one of my favorite characters from that series. this is nothing like those books. it is more mystery than anything and at times is depressing. it’s worth the read but be warned its nothing like heartstopper if that is what you are coming from. i enjoyed it for the most part but i don’t think its one i’ll be rereading.

this was one of the cutest things i’ve ever read. as a former theatre kid and a current d&d player i loved both of these characters so much. this was so fun and lighthearted! obsessed.

this was such a cute read! it was lighthearted and fluffy with so much queer joy and just enough angst to balance it all out.

this book was cringe at times (aka the first like 1/3) but it was an enjoyable read. i ended up staying up until nearly 4am to finish it so it’s worth the read if you need something light and fun to just blow through that still has an entertaining plot.

i love sin. he’s just the perfect amount of fucked up, gross, & manipulative. some parts were confusing but others were predictable imo. overall a great continuation of the series and i will be reading the next one.

i’m obsessed with sibby! getting to see zade again but from her perspective was so fun! the henchmen getting to be more fleshed out characters was so cool. i feel like they are dismissed in the cat and mouse duet bc they aren’t visible so getting to see them become “real” was fascinating.

i was shockingly disappointed in this one. the plot has become increasingly formulaic. i enjoyed the romance but
the same plot points keep happening. “oh no we’re ~80% into the book! time for a near death experience that throws the future of the relationship into question!
it’s just too repetitive. i’m gonna try the next one when it comes out but if it’s like this one then i’m giving up.
