TOP READ OF 2024 FRAGILE SANCTUARY Ⴆყ CATHERINE COWLES ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars

Where do I start? 👏🏼
Okay, number one: pair your reading with the audiobook if you can. The performance by Zachary Webber & Andi Ardnt just made the entire experience of reading this book so much better! The storylines and character backgrounds of Rho and Anson were just wow. So unique and EMOTIONAL. From the very beginning of this story, I promise you’ll have a deep connection with each of these characters as individuals. He’s the broody alpha male and she’s the sunshine sweetheart. The found family aspect centered around Rho literally made me so happy. All of the siblings, Nora and Lolli - they are just the sweetest. (But the apple of my eye from early on is Shepard *heart eyes* I want himmmmmmmm!) I loved how suspenseful this book was. As a true crime girly, this was chefs kiss. I swear I thought the serial unaliver was at least three different people and was not expecting it to be who it ended up being AT ALL. Catherine Cowles, you may just have to take on Thrillers. The belt scene had me in a puddle; you know what they say about the quiet ones, right? Biscuit was so happy he got his HEA too. I was really worried about him because I literally fell in love with that good little boy!

This book will take you on a journey, and Catherine does an amazing job in creating this universe where you feel so connected to the characters - even the pets. I cannot wait for Shep's story!! I also want each of the siblings to have their own book, and Lolli to also find her Golden Bachelor.

I could talk forever about this book! So freakin good, stop what you’re doing and go read it right now!

HOME IS WHERE THE BODIES ARE Ⴆყ JENEVA ROSE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4.5/5 stars

I had been wanting to read Jeneva Rose for a hot minute, and so glad I started with this book. This a page turner— finished it as soon as I started because I had to know where this story would end. Michael, Nicole, and Beth are reunited after their mother passes away. Following her death, they are taken on this wild journey of hidden secrets left behind, they also want answers as to why their dad disappeared. As they follow the bread crumbs left behind by their mother, they get their answers and so much more. The twist in this book was so wild! I didn’t expect the ending to shape out the way it did. I also wanted to compliment Jeneva on how she wrote the passing of Laura, and the relationship between her and Beth. I think many will find comfort in that specific chapter. I also really enjoyed Laura’s pov, it really makes you think of what you would do in the situation she was put in. How far would you go to protect your family?

The narrators of the audiobook, were also fantastic! I loved how they were able to capture the suspense and dynamic between the siblings.
