The writing is wonderful, and I enjoyed the multitude of one-liner pieces of wisdom from the narrator and her grandmother.
That being said, but the characters are unlikeable (on purpose). I had a hunch about what the ending plot-twist would be fairly early on, and I was grateful to have it confirmed finally.
