I adored this! It was charming, witty, funny, and the animal puns made my heart so happy! Lark and Logan are such a fun couple, and I adored getting to know their story, their adventure, and Lark's family! Can't wait to get to book 2! A big thank you, as always, to Ali for allowing me to ARC read this book!

What a start to a series! I could not put this down, Will is a new favorite character for sure!! This one deals with some heavy topics, and can be graphic at times. Please check all Triggers if you need to.

Thank you so much to H.D and her team for allowing me to read an ARC copy of this book! Really loved getting to know more about Molly, and what she went through. Seeing her overcome everything was amazing! Also, shout out to Cage's Mom, she was amazing! Dark, look at your trigger warnings, but highly recommend if this is up your alley!

Not my favorite by this author, but I still really enjoyed it overall. This book is NOT FOR EVERYONE! It has a very taboo subject line, teacher vs student relationships, the students being under age. Read at your own discretion. That being said... Strong emotions, strong story line. The last 50-60ish pages were completely spoiled for me, so I didn't get to expierience the "jaw-dropping twists" that so many others loved about this book, but still very solid. A huge thank you to Frieda and her team for allowing me to ARC read for them! Excited to get my hands on my next McFadden book!!

I really enjoyed this, far more than I thought initially. This is a mystery with thriller componants thrown in, not my normal genre. I will say however, the suspense kept me hooked, and the characters were very lovable. Auguste Poe was a favorite from the start! Excited to see what these three PIs take as their next case!
