As good as the first one!! Although it annoyed me how Xaden kept saying ‘I’ll answer anything IF you ask the questions’ as if she was meant to ask the most bizarre questions? Like how is she meant to know the questions to ask?? Apart from that really gripping

It was good but I feel like it could have been better, although I don’t know how. I didn’t feel particularly attached to the characters and found them quite annoying although maybe that’s the point. I also feel the descriptions and explanations can be confusing sometimes.

All in all it was good still not sure I’ll pay for the other two books though

Loved the whole recounting the philosophers and theories all over the world (not just the west) until today. However, the plot was so so bad and the characters were pretty annoying (the bit towards the end was so weird…like wtf they’re 15)
