I just didn't really like either of the characters, the vocabulary was too high for the amount of brain power I had at the moment, and I couldn't tell where the plot was going/what the end goal is. 
Like yes Emily wants to complete this project with these fae, but also make her encyclopedia? And go to this conference with Wendell? And get this stolen child back? And find out about a fae King? And figure out whats going on with poe? And save this woman who was just stolen by the fae?

Too many plotlines and I don't give a fuck about fae in general.

May pick it back up later cause Alana really liked it but not likely
