Read this on a train journey on my phone and really enjoyed it. A nice simple story if you're familiar with the basic plot from having seen the movie. It's quite different in some ways from the Judy Garland movie, so I'd definitely encourage people to read it. I love the characters of the lion, tin man and scarecrow.

I absolutely adored this book from start to finish and I hope that it's part of a series. Although a story about two "teenagers" in love often seems frivolous or turns my stomach, this was an exception. "My Name is Memory" was beautifully written and tackled difficult and meaningful topics like good vs. evil, the afterlife and soul mates. I really felt for the characters and that is not always easy for an author to accomplish.
"My Name is Memory" has now earned its place within my favourite books. I urge everyone to read it.
