Brilliant read, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters and the setting are crafted beautifully into existence. Such a unique and interesting story, I could imagine this on the screen. Set in Tudor England we meet Tibb and her mum looking for a roof in all the wrong places. this leads tibb on her journey to a beach at the end of her world where she meets ivo and from there another story beings. later we meet Ambrose Maria John and later Flávio and all sorts of other wonderfully crafted characters. Loved this story can’t wait to read more from this debut author.

Started off well however I not aware this was book 2when I started it. There are a number of references to the ghost story in book one that I found I started to loose interest in the characters and story and then I speed read to see what was going on.

What a read, a mother’s perspective of living with domestic violence the feelings, the reality, the stress, the struggles. Trapped unable to fly. This read will stay with me. Recommend.

A page turner where we find verity a mother, wife and author seriously injured after an accident bed bound unable to finish her successful book series and lowen an author tasked with finishing the series who moves into to verity’s home to get inside the mind of the successful author. Enjoyed the start of the novel.
