A chiropodist tells beautiful stories of her aging clients in marzahn Germany. This is a lovely collection of stories where the life’s of her clients unfold to show where they have come from and how they live now. Very enjoyable and endearing

It’s Christmas Eve and liv has just finished her shift in a&e as she makes her way to the bus stop a chance meeting with a stranger changes her life for ever. This stranger saves her and from herein we see what events follow from two different timelines. One timeline shows if she goes home for Christmas as planned the other shows if she stays in Dublin looking out of the stranger who saved her.
I found this book interesting. I enjoyed reading the story from the two outcomes of her Christmas plans and seeing how her decisions unfolded.
However towards the end I was getting a little confused as to what was happening in which timeline.
I enjoyed the characters liv and her family were very wholesome, Eddie and his mother were very real and awful people and Pete was great such a friend.
Overall I enjoyed the story, a very unique Christmas read filled with sadness, hope and fate.
