I thought I knew what I was getting into given how talked about this book is, and WOW, this exceeded expectations. Along with the great storytelling, I loved how full of emotion (and seggsytimes) the story was.

Hartley and Sam had my heart from the beginning...Cat Sebastian never disappoints when it comes to writing steamy yet gentle stories. This one is no exception.

I really enjoyed the world building! The way the author wove the magical world into the "normal" modern world worked very well. The characters kept me turning the pages, too.

This book was recommended to me several times, and I can see why! The world building was top-notch, and much more complex than I expected. And it was delightfully spicy on top of that. I can't wait to read the others in the series.

Preston and Jeremy are enemies (and jealous FWB) to lovers. This book is intense, and definitely not for the faint of heart in places though, so heed any content or trigger warnings. I enjoyed it a lot!

I'm officially hooked on Katee Robert's Dark Olympus series! Hades and Persephone were sizzling, and I loved the author's take on these two characters and the myth around their romance.
