I stopped reading after she said she was glad she was wearing a dress because if she was wearing jeans everyone would see how wet she was from just looking at him. Like girly that might be a medical condition.
The beginning had promise but by the second half I was so annoyed with the MC’s. They were giving same side of the booth couple, making everyone uncomfortable with their PDA, constantly touching, and overall cringy.

I just feel like one family having this many interactions with different psycho obsessive stalkers is just too far fetched.
3.5 it was good but I wouldn’t say it was a literary masterpiece. Just a good sports romance but felt like there could have been a little more character development.
This author just writes the same book over and over with slight changes.
This was the absolute best anxiety representation I have ever read. Jacob’s internal monologue was *chef kiss*. I have never related so a character more. And Briana was the ultimate significant other for someone with anxiety. I practically melted when she sent him a picture of where to park and gave him a breakdown of who would be there and what to expect. No surprise, Abby Jimenez is a queen.
The story itself was fine but I rated it higher for Jacob and Jacob alone.
