3.5

This was the equivalent of watching a simple romcom. Cute, not very complicated, predictable, just a quick easy read. Like a break for the brain.

There are good books and there are fun books. This was not good, but it was fun. Disturbing at a point and the last half dragged a little but I enjoyed it

4.5. If a book could make someone ovulate, this one would definitely do it. It was so cheesy and times but perfect fast paced read to get me out of a slump. Elsie silver is the only one who can make country boys not repulsive.

The beginning was a little slower but by the end I couldn’t put it down. It’s predictable but such a fun easy read. And it’s good. I am fully invested.

2.5 def my least fav of the series.

3.5. This book was written in 2018 and you can for sure tell. I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a romance romance and more of like mending relationships/grief with a romance. And any man who says “you look better without all that shit on your face” about a woman wearing make up is an idiot. But I did read it super fast and it kept my attention and I cared enough about the characters. They all just kind of sucked at some point. Simone def deserves better but it is what it is.

4.5. As someone who usually hates accidental pregnancy, this absolutely slapped. It helped that we find out about it in like the first page so it’s not a surprise plot point thrown into the book later on. They’ve known each other for years, and it’s his best friends sister. Also 3rd trimester Penny is a psychotic queen and I loved her.

I was kinda annoyed with Penny in the begging and it felt like the author was doing too much with her rambling. But it got a lot better and I enjoyed this book. It’s one of those fast paced reads that’ll help get you out of a slump while requiring 0 critical thinking skills.
