A whole lotta sjm universe dump in this one and more than enough povs (I’m sure they’re there to bring info in for the next book) but Tharion annoyed me tbh

Cross universe cousins?
I saw Az and Nesta so I am ready for the next ACOTAR book
A possible return for Erilea???

Had a lot of fun reading this but if anything it made me want more of her other series

I probably should’ve started reading this series w the first book. It repeats itself a lot in the beginning and took me a bit to actually get in to it. Also, I did catch that Quinn has a different last name at the start of the book

But it was a quick read and I didn’t not enjoy it.

First book of 2024 that made me cry ✓
A conflict through cheating that didn't make me not enjoy reading the book ✓

I loved this one more than I thought I would, bc cheating obvs, but damn if Cate can get away with doing the impossible. CCW was my most read author last year and she probably will be again this year bc I can eat her books up like reese's pieces. Idk if I'll be able to get enough.

cw's are aplenty with the main one being grief due to multiple miscarriages

Rich people getting away with rich people things

This has all the makings of being a fave CCW book buuuut I felt not spark for this one like I have with other Cate books. Oh well, they can’t all be great.

Still enjoyed it but left feeling eh once I completed it

Two MCs separated by lies and deception reunited and working together with one goal; an HEA.
Charlie and Jack have all the GC magic - connection, passion, angst, and swoon. With a mystery to uncover and a past to work through Callaway shows why when second chance romances are done well they can be a top tier read.

Charlotte and the Seductive Spymaster was a perfect way to finish off the LCSoA series and it’s so nice having a new GC book to read after finishing her backlog a few months ago 🥹

✨the stuff✨
- girl gang
- masks & disguises
- victorian sex toys
- “i did it to protect you”
- for an audience
