Wait am I a comic girl now? Was craving more Daredevil after finishing the series so this happened. It's actually quite good, and also pretty dark. I feel bad for Matt Murdock.

Yup yup yup yup. Love it, but still torn on the ending. Like.... are we sure there couldn't have been a way for Alina to keep her powers and everything to still work out? Like the fact that she'll never sun summon again hurts. “The boy and the girl had both known loss, and their grief did not leave them. Sometimes he would find her standing by a window, fingers playing in the beams of sunlight that streamed through the glass...They had an ordinary life, full of ordinary things—if love can ever be called that."

Almost everyone is an idiot but you have to love it. This was much better than the first one and honestly really got me hooked back onto the series. Still cannot comprehend how people are in love with the Darkling...I'm scared.

I know people sometimes hate on this book for being a bit basic or condescending but I didn't get those vibes at all. I found it super sweet and insightful - I think it's just one of those books you have to read at the right time in your life.

I always see a billion copies of this at Value Village. Kind of tender, kind of funny but also sort of sad.

This is going to sound really mean but I get tired of reading about losers in high school. Anyway I liked the movie better. But it was a bit nostalgic and reminded me of the John Green days back in 2013.

Okay, I'm liking where this is going so far. Reminds me a lot of 39 Clues. Avery is unfortunately still very, very annoying.

I'm angry that this book exists, but I'm angrier that I had to read it. I don't know why I didn't just put it down. It's disgusting and she was so gross and yucky and I just hate this and I don't know what the point was.

Love a good "haunted by my parent's mysterious past" story. Stumbled upon this at the library and couldn't put it down. So good, and so, so stressful.

Didn't know what I was getting into, didn't understand it. Not a fan.
