This was the first time I read Ness. Oh my Gosh, the reading experience has been SO GOOD! with easy words, a simple yet amazing way of storytelling, lots of emotions and excitement in each chapter, the 'story' made me glued to its pages till the end. Took only two sittings to finish it. Although I was expecting the ending in a different way, I won't say that I didn't like the ending. I loved it because of so many reasons. Especially the picturesque quality and the twists and turns. I'm glad that I picked it up. One should definitely give this book a try!

Have you ever wondered why this book is this much popular among all the other classic romances? Cause it definitely deserves this much love from its readers and critics. Not merely a love story, rather it talks about the 18th-century social norms regarding marriage and the conditions of unmarried single women (which is still prevailing in many countries). From the point of view of a love story, this has been unique. With so many twists and turns and lovely emotions, the romantic journey in this novel itself is amazing. If I continue talking more about it, I'm afraid I am gonna end up putting spoilers! Please do read it if you love romances or classics yet you haven't gone for this book already!
