that was definitely… something. reading this got me thinking, how the fuck did you guys buy all that shit??? 😭 but then again maybe that’s the point of this whole book. to make me understand that, of course, when you’re a bystander who’s not facing this situation directly, being manipulated and isolated and so much more of the fuckass thing that’s going on in the book, it’s easy to judge and stuff.

i love how smart loretta is. how she is so full of fight and love for her children and the need to stick up for herself. the determination to stand up and find out who she really is. the whole supernatural vision thing is intriguing to read, seeing as i finished this book in a day, ever the page turner.

toxic lesbian vampires oh my goddd this is everything i could’ve asked for!!! love the guessing and suspend that we feel as we’re following alice’s journey to figure out what’s happened to her, love Love reading the lore of maria, and obviously the whole story of sabine and lottie was just… Amazing.

i find the last acting of killing was somehow… Just That? but i think it was a necessary ending nonetheless. i wouldn’t say it’s underwhelming, with all the cat and mouse game they’ve been playing for centuries, but it’s still good anyway.
