When I read the blurb for this book, I knew it’d be right up my alley. After reading the first chapter, I was hooked! Anytime I put the book down, I’d instantly want to pick it back up again.

I loved the characters, Almond, Heather and Joss. They reminded me of my friends and how we talk in group chats. Most realistic text messaging I’ve ever seen in a book tbh.

I do think this book could have a few sections cut shorter between Almond and her Mum but that could be down to personal preference as I think it much preferred when she was talking with her friends.

I really loved the way the stats and texts etc. were captured within this book and helped with the flow of the book as it gave you a quick break with big chunks of text.

Loved everything about this book. Thank you Faber for sending me a proof copy!

When I heard the concept for this book, I was sold. A bunch of ex’s in a reality tv game show, getting revenge on 1 man and a Taylor Swift song for a book title.

Unfortunately I think the writing style was not for me. I was lost with who was who and ultimately the book was a bit too long.

However, if you like Sophie’s other books, I’m sure you will enjoy this.

Thank you netgalley for the E-arc.
