This was one of the most cliche books I've ever read, but it somehow set itself apart from the others. I fell in love with Graham almost as fast as Ellie did, and I related o Elle far more than I expected to. I really didn't expect to fall into this story so hard but once I had I was hard to get up. It was great and I want to move to Henley! And go want a Graham Larkin! Loved it! Can't wait to read Smith's other stuff!

This book was a roller coaster of gratuitous detail, unnecessary characters, and BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE. While some of it was a slog to get through, I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. It was very genuine in its unlikely events. I fell in love with some of the characters and was sorry to see some
of them go.
I was near tears when Sam Hamilton died.
I thought there were many, many very important and very relevant themes displayed in this book that shocked me and made me think. It's definitely a time consuming read, but a worthwhile one as well. Some of the lines had me sighing because they were so poetic. One of my favorites, from Chapter 5 was: "Tom bruised himself on the world and licked his cuts."
