Will forever love my man Kenji. I love his POVs so much and getting to see more of his interactions with Nazeera. I know a lot of people don't love the novellas, but I love the way it makes me feel more connected to the characters, which is something I've had trouble with throughout the series.

Let me start this by saying that it is so hard to love some of these characters when they're as stupid as they are. Some of them never learned when to stop talking and I'm here to teach them that because they NEED IT. Anyways, while I enjoyed this book a lot more than the others it's still missing that magic something that makes me unable to put it down. Honestly, if it weren't for Kenji I don't know if I would've continue reading this series. I'm here for Kenji and Nazeera only.

P.S. If Evie Sommers has zero haters, then I'm dead.

Kenji's perspective has become my favorite thing ever, but that's because he's my favorite character. Everyone else annoys me. I'm excited to see how this series progresses now that I'm actually invested in the characters. Fingers crossed I don't cry cause I tend to do that a lot when I read LMAO.

I remember reading these books when I was in middle school and omg this was so nostalgic. The fear street series was such a big part of my younger teenage years (checked these books out from the library constantly) and I really enjoyed reading them again.

The book started out pretty good and it has a fun concept, but I just found myself bored with it. After getting about halfway I got bored and found it hard to pick up. I don’t think i’ll continue the series, but who knows I may change my mind.

Okay, so the first half of this book was a bit tough to get through, but the last half of the book had me HOOKED. That may be a little overkill, but this is the first time in the series that I really wanted to keep reading. For the last 200 pages it was so hard to put the book down. With the plot finally feeling like it's going somewhere, I can't wait to finish this series and see how it all unfolds.

Finally! It only took a few books, but I finally feel invested in this series. I mean, I still don't find myself as invested as I want to be, but I feel like we're getting somewhere. I'm finally looking forward to reading this series and finding out what happens. I really enjoyed getting a deeper look into who Aaron is and how he is different from the way he was portrayed in the first few books.

Adam. Adam. Adam. Getting a look into his head was interesting... Don't get me wrong, I love the different perspectives, but Adam is so annoying. He just stays yapping about straight nonsense. I'm manifesting his character development, cause man he needs it.

Another book in the series read and I am still not hooked?! I just want to love this series, but it feels like there's something missing. I'm still hopeful that once the plot begins to develop, the more I will enjoy the series. Either way, I'm excited to see what happens and I'm manifesting that Warner gets some sense knocked into him :)

I did not expect to love this book as much as I did. This book is something that I probably would have never picked up on my own, but I am so glad that I read it. This is such a cute and cozy fantasy book that tugs at your heartstrings. I found myself constantly giggling while reading this and I absolutely fell in love with the characters. I also really enjoyed Holly’s internal monologue and found her hilarious. If you ever want a light fantasy book that’ll make you smile and fall in love with the characters then I definitely recommend this! Oh, and without spoiling, I found the way that magic works in this story to be very interesting.
