Engaging, and I liked the found footage format, though the journal entries fell flat for me in terms of character voice and story. Also I’m not sure I’m satisfied by the ending. Also, also Kevin is a menace to society.
It was giving campfire ghost story/goosebumps novel and not in a good way. And honestly the urine to story ratio was way too high for a book this small.
I did like the gay witches though, they were neat.

I'm trying to read more non fiction in 2023 and I thought I'd start with one I enjoyed. For the most part I find the essays quite comforting. However it was certainly weirder reading it this time as it really feels like a time capsule of 2020 in a lot of ways.

I'm gonna go cry for a while now. This book was a creepy little thing and broke my heart.
This book was like a puzzle. I enjoyed the non-linear timeline and matching up how all the characters fit together. Overall it was an enjoyable read, it has been awhile since I've felt so invested in a book.
