The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.
It was pretty obvious at around the start of chapter 9 that
Delphie was going to end up with Cooper. I skipped to the last chapter and confirmed this was correct as well. I can't believe that they don't fully get together until the end. I feel like the story could have been way shorter.
. I get that the writing was meant to be quirky but it made Delphie and Merritt not that "loveable" and more cringe, which I get the whole concept of this book is but I just couldn't get onboard for the ride.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 20%.
The book started tense and moved fast, but then he kept getting stuck in the same helpless situation as the people around him weren't helping him
(which I understand makes sense after reading the book sumnary
but it was hard for me to get over the hump.

Very realistic depiction of the girl and boy bestfriend trope.
Just surprised it took them 12 years to finally give in to their feelings.
Emily Henry is so good at making me feel the emotions of the characters.

Interesting take on the multiverse concept. I do wish there was an epilogue of some sort as the ending was too abrupt, especially with the multiverse factor.

Did not finish book.
The plot wasn't moving along fast enough to want me to keep reading. Some of the short POVs weren't necessary.

The build-up took really long and it was a sudden climax and drop off in the last 2 chapters. To be honest, I didn't know where the book was going at all except that I read it as a recommendation of a Christian influencer to read. Despite that, I really like the themes of this book, namely, the theme of GRACE, as a Christian reader.
There were some plot holes in the ending but I get what the author was conveying. I feel like she could have focused more on the relationship throughout the years between Scotland and Cooper.
