Jeanie moves to the small town of Dream Harbour, looking for a fresh start. As the new owner of The pumpkin spice cafe she is desperate to make a good impression on the town and start a new life here. Of course, a bit of romance comes when you least expect it.
A lovely little Romcom with a bit of spice. It is absolutely perfect for autumn. This was such a cute, light, feel-good book. Giving such Gilmore Girl vibes, I totally feel in love with the small town charm. The characters were likeable, and I was rooting for the main characters.

Summer is tasked with babysitting bad boy bull rider Rhett before he causes any further PR nightmares. Complete opposites in personality they struggle to be around each other and soon that turns to attraction. Who can resist a sexy bull rider.
I'm a sucker for a small town romance, especially if there's spice thrown in. This was perfection. It is the perfect introduction to the Chestnut springs series where each book follows a character but they all link.
Forced proximity, slow burn, opposites attract.

Ever wondered how the beast was cursed and why. Or the backstory of the hag who cursed him. This shares the story of the beast from the perspective of the hag from before Belle appears, all the way back to when he was cursed.
I really love back stories of characters and even if this is not the true back story I love it all the same. There were some differences within the story but some answered questions that were begging to be answered.
It's a lovely short read for a Disney lover and there's a few other Disney stories in the book series.

This book got me hooked on reading again. I couldn't put it down.
Beth opens the door to police asking where her husband Tom is. When Tom is arrested Beth starts to question everything she knows about her husband. Dealing with the town gossip, everyone saying she knew, trying to keep her life on track, Beth starts the crack.
I was not prepared for the absolute twists in this book and I loved every second of it!

Amanda is a creature of habit, in the same routine day in day out. However, today is her last day of commuting, she has quit her job and plans to make it as a writer. Everything is fine, until a stranger sits by her on the train and threatens to derail her whole life.
I did not feel connected to the characters in this book, I felt that both Amanda and her daughter were unlikeable. The premise was a bit stale and the ending took a bit of a left turn. I read it the whole way through hoping it would improve but it was a steady 2 star throughout for me.

One of the first books I read as an adult. This built a whole world that seemed so real when reading it. It was descriptive and immersive. I really enjoyed reading it.
This cozy mystery is a slow-burn whodunnit. It was lighthearted and fun to read. The author brings each character to life and I loved following the timeline of the victim in their final day. The character progression of the three women keeps you rooting for them. I really liked that this was more about friendship than romance as I feel that's always really heavy in plots and is not always needed. I can't wait to read more from this series and see where the stories take me.
The author really delves in to the characters in this book. You get multiple POV of the sisters and the book takes you through both the past and present. You really get a feel for not only what is happening now but what happened then and how it all links.
The last 25% of this book was filled with twists and I was not expecting some of them. This is a story about family, regret and healing. I really enjoyed the writing style and will be picking up more of Eve Chase's books.
