It was a nice quick read with beautiful writing. It takes you into the mind of a teenage girl who was going through life. It was simple but effective.

Overall it was a pretty good book, I loved the story and the writing but some of the characters were pain in the asses.
I thought it was a bit funky that Oliver and Ethan wanted to smash as siblings-in-law well it's now fine cuz they are ex-siblings-in-law but yeah I feel like Ethan could have just been Dane's friend rather than brother and the whole relationship would have been less weird.
One part that confused me was like ¾ the way through she starts giving a recount to someone of what happened on the honeymoon but as the reader it seemed a bit redundant as I had just read everything that happened.
In general I'm not the biggest fan of straight romances because they always have to have pretty wild things happen to make it interesting, though this definitely is one of the best straight romances I have read. I think Christina Lauren are great authors so they made this story work really well for the most part.

wow. I absolutely loved this book, I read it all in a single day because I just could not put it down.
I really saw myself in Felipe, how he viewed himself and how others viewed him felt so real and it really resonated with me. I loved seeing him slowly become more confident as time progressed and he didn't feel the need to change himself, something I see often in other media with fat people.
Caio was such a lovely character and I wish we got to see more of his life because I was quite invested in his storyline with his mum. But obviously Felipe was the focus and it was from his perspective so we couldn't see all of Caio's inner thoughts.
As someone who is fat myself, I just loved the way this book handled the fat characters. They weren't demonized or used as punchlines, they simply existed in the story as people.
This book was such a sweet and charming read and I couldn't stop smiling for the most part.

This book has solidified my opinion on John Green's writing, that being he is not that good of an author. Reading David Leviathan's beautifully written chapter followed immediately by John's mediocre chapter made it painfully obvious his lack of depth in writing stories and characters.
John set up the character of Tiny as this insufferable, flamboyantly gay guy full of inconsistencies but by the end David salvaged Tiny into such a likeable and relatable character.
Will Grayson #1 (John's) was one of my least favourite characters, both in how he was written as well as his actual personality. He was bland and annoying, especially when compared to Will #2 (David's) who was quite a fleshed out character. So when Will #2 was acting up I was still able to see where he was coming from and empathise.
Maura was my least favourite character, she didn't bring anything to the story other than making her supposed best friend heartbroken and then got mad that Will was mad at her???
Honestly I would have loved this book so much more if it wasn't a collab between such different authors. John's writing by himself is alright, nothing spectacular but by having David's parts he was being set up as the worse author. And if it was just David writing this I think all of the characters from John would have been all developed better and it would have done this book so much justice.

I've been excited about this book for a while and I was not disappointed. I loved the characters and the story but there was some parts of the writing I didn't like.
The constant use of pop culture references mainly in the first part really got on my nerves. A few here and there would be fine but there was multiple lists of different games/books/movies and it felt like the author was just promoting his favourite media.
There was quite a few plot jumps between chapters and it felt like I missed so much context. Obviously I wouldn't want a full recount of every single action, but a bit more context at the beginning of a new chapter would be nice.
I managed to finish it in two sittings. It didn't drag on for too long but it was a bit more fast paced than I like personally.
The plot twist genuinely had me shocked Jason's mum being a COP like damnn and he was bugged too
There was so many cute moments between Matt and Jason but I also think Matt deserves more than someone who only dates him so he can give information to a cop while lying and manipulating him
Overall I'd recommend this if the plot seems interesting to you, it's pretty much exactly what I was expecting from reading the synopsis.
