Compelling character driven vampire story with a surprising amount of emotional depth. A believable romance arc that doesn't over power the story. A Bi character who isn't portrayed as bisexual for the express purpose of having a character that is just sex with no other character traits (thank you so much). Main character who's growth from scared assault survivor to the princess determined to save herself was honestly the best part. Just enough mystery to keep you reading and if the end reveal isn't as twisty as some I've read, that's okay. Looking forward to her next book!
