yeah this book fucked me up but I still can't figure out if I'm angry with it or in awe or both.

What a short, fucked up and yet amazing read. Written in the 30s but I could still draw parallels to the fascism and hate we see our 'friends' suddenly preaching today in the world and in our country. Very very interesting.

Small, lovely and frustrating read. I liked how the author put all these facts in front of us while also telling a story of a seemingly real person.
It's also funny how experiences can be so similar even though geographies are so different. I really found myself nodding along to a lot of the things Kim Jiyoung was going through.

profound, but dense even though it's surprisingly only 89 pages.

Could have been great, but I feel like it got lost within it's self. Will explain in a more detailed review later. :)

I think Priyanka Chopra is a great actress and is thriving as an entrepreneur and as a person However, this book is not for us desis who may already know quite about her by following her on social media or by watching all her interviews. I felt that you didn't really get much out of the book in terms of who she is other than what we've already seen or heard before. Other than that, I felt like the way she spoke about her family was super touching and the book was well written.

my least favourite of the volumes so far but still fucking excellent. This just felt like an 'in between' sort of book wherein we're just seeing where the characters are after a time jump but not much really happens otherwise. scratch that, a lot happens but it just felt like it was just laying foundation for the things yet to come. basically, on it's own doesn't hold as much value but still excellent overall.
