This book honestly got me back into non-fiction sex reading!!!

So many great nuggets of wisdom and such a gentle reading experience! Tawny's writing is sooo easy to read and really feels like you're getting advice from a wise friend who has *been there*.

I've been sober curious for about a year now and drinking wayyyy less/barely at all and generally don't like to mix sex/dating and alcohol. This book was so affirming and supportive when I was feeling weird for not wanting to go to clubs to find hook-ups, and ordering mocktails/Coca Cola on dates instead of alcohol.

I also found so many parallels with dating sober & new queer dating after coming out as a lesbian too! The last chapters around unlearning patterns of numbing and in general all the wisdom around how jarring and wild it can be to fully allow yourself to feel your feelings for the first time?? PHEW!! Truly such a gem of a book.
