It was ok. Kept me interested at least.

A note: I probably shouldn't have started reading this book two days before flying on an airplane. Pretty realistic and scary descriptions of a plane crash.

It was good. I needed to know what happened to the people who disappeared, even though that wasn't the point of the novel. I was left a little unsatisfied with the ending, as well.

To me, this book had a hard time making up its mind. And I didn't find the story line to be well developed - things moved too quickly and unbelievably.

Also there's no way the sixteen year old narrator would narrate like he does. It reminded me of how intelligently witty the characters in the O.C. were, but at least those teens were entertaining.

I laughed out loud many times while reading this book. I also devoured it in a day and a half. I recommend it - it's nothing profoundly life changing, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

The back flap says Jonathan Trooper was making this into a screen play for a movie adaptation...and I think his book will make a boring, cliched movie, because it's almost a cliched story.

Still into this series...four books and 2500 pages later.
