I really enjoyed this book! I loved the culture woven throughout it and the intricate magic system. I enjoyed all the different POVs and seeing the growth of each of the characters in their different ways. Some parts were so tense and I couldn't wait to find out what happened. I found the pacing very good and the world so interesting. I enjoyed that the fighting Zelie did didn't rely on her magic and used the staff. I am going straight onto the next book!

This was a great novella, it managed to be fast paced but not insta love, I liked the alien setting and meeting other types of species. I also enjoyed finding out about what had happened to Maladek

And I loved the ending, so much tension and complex relationships in this book! I loved seeing Brie become her true self and the journey that she went on to save the realms. I met some new favourite characters and got the ending I was hoping for. I'm looking forward to reading the spin off of this duology!

I love this type of fantasy! Fae, courts, mystery, secrets! I loved being pulled in different directions and not knowing who to trust, there were twists I didn't expect and some I had a bit of an idea. I loved the romance and tension! I can't wait to get into the next book!

This was an interesting take on a detective story, lighthearted in tone and interesting how the mystery was woven together.

A sweet witchy sapphic fantasy romance. This was a low stakes read with such a cosy feel to it. I loved the unique magic system and the growth of the characters relationship. The description was beautiful and I've never wanted a piece of honey cake more than when reading this. Marigold and Lottie's character and relationship progression was a journey. I genuinely disliked Lottie at the start but loved her by the end. I did have an inkling on the reveal for a while but I loved how it played out. The ending was slightly higher stakes albeit a tiny bit rushed and I definitely cried at a few points in the book too. Such a good read.

I loved this, especially Beau. It was great to get some background about him and the interactions between him and Bailey were so cute.

So this was definitely a slow burn and took a while to get going but I love the way the world is built and how complex the characters are and how their different motivations affect their actions. I loved the different types of relationships between them. Soren frustrated me so much but it added to my reactions to the other characters when they were not so sure he should be so stubborn. Rooke was a very interesting FMC so different from when we meet her in the novellas  which I recommend reading before this. She had so many years and different experiences that she seemed very mature and that was nice to see in an FMC for a change. The ending so so good and I can't wait for the next book!
