Dani and Zafir are amazing characters. I really like Zafir and his family. There is amazing mental health representation and the idea that a man is changing the mental health landscape for other young men is amazing. The third act break up was a little iffy to me but I liked the gesture Dani did. I felt that it did drag a little in the middle but over all it was a very enjoyable and realistic read.
This book was so cute. I suffer from chronic illness so I could relate to Chloe and I think the author did a good job of portraying chronic illness. I loved Reds journey to accepting himself and I think he is a great love interest. I appreciated that he went to therapy and would have liked to see more of that story line. Overall it is a well rounded romance with humor, a believable third act breakup and great character development.
I really enjoyed the look into a rockstar romance. I liked the band backstory and Katie’s backstory. I liked Katie’s character and how she tried to bring everyone together in the end.
I am not a big short story reader but I enjoyed these stories. I felt each story got better as I continued on. I already knew what happened to Sam but it still was a blow to the heart. Overall, I liked it but felt the earlier stories a little boring.
This book was a great read. I saw one of the three big reveals coming, but I was surprised by the other two. I thought the middle was a little slow, which is why I lowered my rating by .5. I liked how the author developed the characters in the book. I thought the idea of the trials was interesting, but a little tedious. I think that this is a book for older YA due to some content. Overall, I am itching to get to the rest of the series to see how the big end reveal develops. I would recommend it to those interested, but check trigger warnings for those who think they may need it.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

This was a great story. I guessed who the killer was early on in the book but I still enjoyed the reading experience. The writing had a great flow to it. I liked the characters and how they each had a distinct personality and world. I think that the character’s could have been explored some more especially Nancy and Kade. Overall, I enjoyed the book but it was a little too bare bones for me.

This story was so cute. I loved the incorporation of a heavy main character and the author did a great job of portraying that character. The book did not make the main female character question her fatness but had her embrace it. It showed issues that a heavier person has to deal with. I love how it ended and how Cindy went for her dreams while still fighting for Henry. I loved the incorporation of the fashion industry and would have liked to see a little more of it. I think the scene with Addison and her zipper issue was not needed and seemed out of character. Overall, I really enjoyed this book.
I loved how the book wrapped up. To me the the best part of the book was the love story. I liked the family aspect but did not find it as entertaining as others. I found that it moved kind of slow and the dead body plot parts of the book were on the boring side. I loved the aspect of the wedding at the end and how everyone came together to get the sheriff to leave everything alone. Overall, it was an entertaining book but I was disappointed because I had high expectations.
