Dark Places by Gillian Flynn

I never rate a book 5 stars. But WOW.
This book was intense, gritty, visceral. The writing had me guessing right up until the reveal. If you love murder mysteries, you have to read this. Just be warned, it is graphic at times.

I was not expecting to finish this book in a day as fantasy is difficult for me recently but holy cow this book is incredible. If I had to nitpick, I would say it’s probably 100 pages too long. I think they could’ve taken out some of the filler and it would be five stars for me.
