mysterious reflective fast-paced

This was a good book. We have Everett trying to better himself and his life for his daughter, Lark. Josie, who is trying to reclaim her life (in her own way by going off the grid) that was stolen by her ex. Hank, who is aging and needs the help of Josie. They all live in Silent Creek and need each other when suspicious things start happening.

I thought that Josie had a good head on her shoulders and she had every right to be cautious of people. My favorite girl Lark 🤩 she was precocious and I felt she gave a little light back into Hank's life especially.

It was a good little mystery too of the "monster" Lark kept seeing and even though it felt easy to figure out who it was....it still kept me turning pages to see how it would turn out.

To be honest, Ava got on my nerves. I usually like a flip where the girl is grumpy and the guy is sunshine but I didn't like her as the grumpy one. The only thing I really liked about her is her relationship with her twin Max. Finn is just a bouncy puppy up for anything! It did get a little old that he kept falling for her as time went on because of how she was to me.

This is one romance and Kerry fans won't want to miss. Meli (who's running) and Aaron find each other on a plane to Vegas and decide to marry for 24 hours. They make a list of the perfect person for each of them even though they never intend to marry (after this!).

Meli has loved her life woodworking with her Uncle even though hey parties see her now as an associate rather than a daughter. Aaron has had expectations put on him that is not what he wanted out of life but feels he needs to do out of obligation. These two, while they keep a lot to themselves, also find they can open up to each other as they can't to others.
Their relationship has a lot thrown at them and they try to ride the waves as best as they can.

Aaron was just the perfect guy and he was the one for Meli, I could feel that from the very start. If you get a chance to read the novelette, The First Fall, after this one ... do it! I felt it enhanced the feeling of love I had for these characters.

This was non stop action trying to keep two terrorists from taking more lives at the big White House celebration for the Fourth of July.. What starts as 2 rangers dead moves to a blown up bus full at Zions National Park, our MC Sage and his dog Peak have only 7 days to stop them before they take out their largest target.

Sage was a great character. Very intuitive, very precise. There are so many agencies involved in this and he did his best to work with them all in the most productive way. This plot felt so real and it was very scary feeling it throughout the read, gave me chills. The ending had some 😲 and I can't wait for more

I love Camden and Naomi both together and in their individual lives and what they each are going through. I love that they both come as a "package" deal...Naomi with her young, adorable son Liam (aka the guy from Izzy and Her Off-Limits Love) and Camden with his "hockey dad" Mike who has early onset dementia.

I love that these 2 get to try again in Harvest Hollow after a sad end in Oakley Island. The Dream Team is hilarious as always in person and in their group chat. I like that Parker is so upset with the term WAG that she comes up with her own for the girls chat. I love the addition of Panda. I loved that I cried in the epilogue for so many things in it. My favorite scene was Naomi's request of the Appies in Camden's hotel room after a game 🥹. Just a beautiful end to this beloved hockey team series!

I've never read Persuasion so I won't compare it, but this was a fun one all the same.

Annie breaks up with her boyfriend and in turn hurts her friendship with her best friend Viv.  She hates her job so she quits without a plan. Then she makes her own plan and really goes for it! She gets a job that she doesn't know much about but she works hard and has a great friend Sofia there to help her. If only she wasn't working for the one whose heart she broke, Kylan.

Annie was an interesting character. She was so extroverted but that sometimes led to a "no filter" persona. I adored her roommates, they were amazing guys they just were always there for her no matter what. Her mother though- oof, toxic woman.

Ok, hot hockey dad Tyler who is so, so attentive and loving and has a great relationship with his ex and he's perfect. His kids, Parker and Luna, are just the most easy going, precious littles.

As Sabrina weaves seamlessly into their lives, it's a better fit than the one she would have had with her cheating ex who was just with her for glory (💲💲) at her father's work. I LOVE how she gets out of her wedding to Chad (ugh that name! I don't like it), it's hilarious. But the way her parents and Chad gaslight her is super terrible!

I love that Sabrina fosters kittens, her best friend Trevyn is hilarious, she can befriend people easily and how devoted she is to nannying even when it's a bit tough at first with Parker. I love the trust she has in Tyler.  I love their "lessons" together.

Don't think about the science part so you can really enjoy this novel 😉

This was a fascinating mystery. A company can send you back to the past, for an hour, but you don't know where you'll go. You do know that the future will not be changed in any way too.

Four strangers get sent to the same very tough day. Elizabeth lost her son, Andy lost a new love, Logan who was paralyzed, and Brooke who caused an accident. They work together to understand why they were sent to this point again and they come to find peace and a way to move forward. This is a book that just keeps you turning pages and feeling all the feelings with these people.
inspiring mysterious slow-paced

I loved this unique take on Prohibition where not only booze is illegal but so is magic. There are girls who dance with magic, like fire and water conjuring, and have to hide their magic in underground speakeasies.

Nora is a fire dancer just like her mother was. She suffers from panic attacks and they come from being in the spotlight. So Miles, who works at his father's theater, tried to help her hone her skill while keeping the panic attacks at bay.

Nora was strong despite all that befell her mother. I felt she made herself even stronger in the friendships with the other dancers. When things get dangerous, they find a way to take back their power from the monsters and men that want to take them down.

Another winner and I love that it's very reminiscent of the You've Got Mail plotline.
I felt bad that their landlord thought that the best way for him to find a single manager when they merged spaces to be a battle and how he would manipulate these two MCs.

I loved that this is kind of flipped and the guy, Ryan, runs the romance bookstore.  His employees are so fun and diverse and I loved their "fishbowl" tradition for team meetings.

While Josie's run store doesn't seem to be my speed, I do admire her work ethic and how she handles the business side of it all. I love her fierce dedication to get sister Georgia, picking up their mother's slack. I have hope that their mother can change for the better 🙏

There are many fun scenes and some 🔥 scenes like that one time in the bookstore 😉 you'll just have to read and see. The online personalities of each MC, I get. We all feel we can be maybe more authentic online? At least for me.
