I - wow. This book is a book everyone should read once, and maybe once again when they are experiencing any type of grief from loss of a loved one. Onyi Nwabineli somehow put indescribable feelings into the words that could closest describe them and that in and of itself is a gift to the world, and I truly believe it will be a comfort to those in similar situations.

I loved it! Very cute book that helped me get out of my mini reading slump. The story was nice to follow, the family dynamics really added to the characters backstories, and the banter between the main characters was fantastic!

I really really loved the world of TOG and this book was a wonderful closing. I cried… multiple times and a book hasn’t made me feel that emotional in quite a while! The character development was also so wonderful to see - as well as the couples finding each other. As much as I loved the journey… I really don’t think this book needed to be almost 1,000 pages lol.

I think I enjoyed the book much more because of the Tandem read. Standalone it would probably be 3.5 stars but only bc of Chaol lmao Nesryn & Yrene are such fire FMCs.

Read this in Tandem with Tower of Dawn and it added so much to the experience! Loved the growth throughout the book from all the characters & that SJM brought so many things full circle.
