This was fine. The past and present timelines were insane, especially the past. Ending was not at all what I was expecting which is always the case for Alice Feeney books. Hell hath no fury like a teenaged girl.

I love this book with every fiber of my being. It’s witty, funny, sometimes a little awkward and perfectly encapsulates what my freshman year has felt like so far. Selin’s search for meaning and understanding of language, communication, and ultimately connection is so extremely relatable and I’m so glad I read this book when I did.
