Mandatory reading, and timeless. A very real and heartbreaking look at the development of national prejudice as acceptable from the viewpoint of a child. The end is a bit lackluster, but it's not enough to take away from the masterful prose and haunting imagery.

Creative, well paced, and shows a mastery of world and character building. Very impressive debut novel, excited for more.
