Wow I've been on a 5 star streak and i couldn't be happier.

This is exactly what I needed, it felt like this book gave me a hug and sang me to peaceful sleep. Now excuse me while I go read everything by Becky Chambers.

This was an incredible novel about humanity, about what we can endure and how we still find beauty, joy, love, and simple pleasures when our world is turned upside down.
This was incredibly well written, and with so much thought, empathy and love. You can feel that Saramago poured so much into this and I think if this does not become a classic, I would be very disappointed.
At times it was very hard to read because of subject matter, but I appreciated every single chapter, and I feel that not one word was wasted.
This was simply beautiful, heart-wrenching, and in the end, simply hopeful.

This was one of the best audiobook productions I've heard. The book itself, it was not bad, I think I was just not that intrigued.

Subjectively, I didn't really learn much from this. Felt more like an introduction when you've never heard of the concept of feminism and "i hate men" before.
It was just fine.

Felt like this would've been more enjoyable if I had read every book the author mentioned. Still in enjoyed it for what it was though.

A Shining is a very short book, but one that I think one could debate about for hours.
It's one of those books that every reader will interpret differently, or resonate with differently depending on their life story and experiences.

To me, this was a story of how peaceful death can be. That it does not always need to be scary.
It's also a story of suicide, and of our lives in general. And of how our brains function; how we exist in a constant stream of consciousness.

This story generally just had a feeling of peace and bliss.

Honestly just loved this. It was so easy to read, I kept wanting to pick it up the entire time, and just overall captivated me. I loved Brave New World by Aldous Huxley so this is not a huge surprise, but I am so happy I finally read it.
Orwell's writing is beautiful and one can really feel how much he poured into this novel. I highly respect his effort and I will now recommend this book to everyone.

I think my expectations were a little high. Nothing truly wrong with the novel, I just wasn't really feeling it at all.
It might also be because I struggle to read from the perspectives of teenagers, it usually puts me off a book. Therefore, I think I am going to continue the series when they become young adults.

I'm fascinated by how Chakraborty is able to make you understand the characters so deeply, making you feel sorry and love for even the villains, because even though you might not agree, or their actions are not justifiable, you still understand where the pain comes from and why they believe what they are doing is right.

This is a story about how love and belief can blind us, and even though this was obviously mostly a fictional world, I could relate it all too well to the reality of our world.

Very well done series and characters, it kept  me on my toes and I just kept praying everything would be okay when I couldn't think of a way out.
