first read: this book would not let me SLEEP (literally i was up until 5am reading it days in a row) it consumed my thoughts and while there some twists that i expected THEY JUST KEPT GOING!!!! for the last part of the book my jaw was on the damn floor. this book utterly drained me and made me mad and sad in ways i could have never imagined feeling from reading but SJM is just that kind of author. bryce became so relatable throughout the book and some of her thoughts were my own. i was scared to start CC because of people’s complaints over the world building ambush but i genuinely enjoyed it and felt like i know a lot about where they were and i could picture it so clearly in my head. i loved the characters and their flaws just ugh i already bought the next one (im nervous everything is to good to be true with SJM)
