This is my favourite book of this year. The novel of our times, really captures the narcissism of my g-g-g-generation.

Going into this I wanted a relaxed Murkami book where the characters all chill out and listen to records, which this delivered on. Afterfter
After about 300 pages it started to try my patience a lot to be honest, and the final 100 pages became a complete slog. Not to say it's poorly written but it just reminded me of his better work, which I would recommend anyone re-read instead of picking this up.
