Picked up this book with the impression that it's a 'badass female protagonist novel' , but as I got deep i felt that the story is REAL GOOD but where is our girl w the dragon tattoo? Then I did some research and got to know that the book was originally called 'Men who hate women' and it answered all my question i had reading this DARK but AMAZING, LONG but GRIPPING, MISLEADING (title) but A HELL OF A CRIME-THRILLER NOVEL.

edit(11-feb-2021): I feel that Salander will be the protagonist in the next two books will update after I read book 2.

This was my introduction to mythological fiction.
I'm probably the only person when read this before reading the palace of Illusions.
I enjoyed the over all story but I thought most of the book will describe Sita's life after Ram defeated Ravan it did but still was not satisfactory enough (atleast for me).
I got to know many things that I wasn't aware of tho.

love reading about psy plants.
This one covers a lot about peyote and datura. The way don juan described them , the procedure to plant and pluck them, the experiences when one takes them for the first time was jarring
