Cozy sci-fi at its finest. A book that I'm sure I'll enjoy more with every reread. 

Of Jade and Dragons by Amber Chen
Did not finish book. Stopped at 25%.

I wanted to like this book based on the premise (or maybe what I assumed the premise was). I enjoyed the start and the initial set up, but the energy didn't continue. The dialogue felt stilted and the main character didn’t really do anything for me. 
Also, story wise

the love interest(?) knowing the MC’s identity was not what I expected. I wanted the tension of secrets, and it wasn't there. Their relationship felt too mentor/mentee.
