Things are rolling. Plot is thick and intense, characters are developing. I’m in. I may have cried through the first few hundred pages, but eventually I got used to the sense of utter despair. Excited to see how everyone can get out from all the bad things that keep happening to them. Do not read if you want simple, happy go lucky plots. The angst is strong with this one. I am loving how the Heirs are getting hella protective over Tory and Darcy. And Max + Geraldine 😍.  Caleb + Seth 👀. Lance better get over his righteous pity party soon though because rotten in prison isn’t doing anyone any good. Darius and Darcy both need him. And he knows it.

What’s that sound? It’s my heart being ripped from my chest. Just brutal. But also like really good. I swear though, if this series doesn’t have a happy ending, I’ll probably be depressed for months. I really want the Vegas to rule with the Heirs. Their generation can help heal Solaria. And I don’t know if I hate Tory right now, because I kind of understand why she did what she did. But I just want her to stop sabotaging herself. She deserves to love herself and let herself be loved. Seth really disappointed me this book,  but I hope he can get his shit together and stop pining over Darcy. Caleb might be my favorite Heir and the lil bromance with Seth is soooooo good. I need more slightly homo moments between the Heirs and Orion/Darius. Also Max and Geraldine?? 10/10. Love to see it.

Mostly though right now my heart is breaking for Darius because for some reason I completely forgive him and want him to find peace and happiness. Screw his dad and messed up family. Hopefully Xavier can get some justice soon too.

I’m invested. Things are getting good, the slow burn between Darius and Tory is killing me. But also I know the payoff will be great. I’m also living for the brief glimpses of homoerotic goodness between the Heirs and Orion/Darius.

Not enough smut - but enough angst and slow burn that I’m going to keep reading.

Slow start, but about 60% through it really picked up. I’m interested to see who are main love interests are because apparently it’s not a reverse harem, but there are so many hot guys 👀

This book was a little too real for my taste. Maybe I just compared it too closely to my life, but I saw myself in Poppy’s and Alex’s relationship. And oh my gosh, it nearly broke me. I thought like a standard romance- they would have amazing sex, admit their feelings and all would be well. When it didn’t easily work out between them I was crushed. I know we got a happily ever after, but it was so raw to get there. The fact that they both had to work on themselves first was beautiful but also pretty heavy. I would say that I equally loved and didn’t love this book. It might not have been a fun light read the whole way through, but maybe it’s a story I needed.

Struggled to get through this story. Some of the jargon and overly descriptive battles lost me  but I really liked the cast of flawed characters: Malgus , Aryn, and Zeerid were fun to follow throughout. And we love a story where the Jedi aren’t the perfect heroes.

I struggled to connect with this book as a whole — I am not Jewish, into horror movies or showbiz.  This story between two cute girls was still charming. It just didn’t fully invest itself into my soul.

Omigosh John Tucker is such a sweetheart. I don’t normally go for a pregnancy trope, but this one made my ovaries ache! Yikes! But also I loved it. Sabrina was stubborn but Tucker was so patient and supportive with her. It’s so interesting to me to really learn more about Tucker; he’s always just been in the background of the other Off Campus stories. It’s always the quiet ones 😉
