It was neat to see some proto-Cosmere ideas and how they changed in later Sander-works. The ending left me wondering what happens to the characters in this other timeline.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.
Started good, but was dragging in the middle. Then I went out of town and didn't read it for several days. Now I can't get back into it.

Overall it was interesting from a historical perspective. Published in 1898 and we get detailed descriptions of space travel. I read in another review that it is War of the Worlds fanfic, and I agree with that assessment.
