Very interesting look at the history of science fiction literature. My TBR grew a lot from adding books mentioned in this one.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.

Started good, but was dragging in the middle. Then I went out of town and didn't read it for several days. Now I can't get back into it.

Edison's Conquest of Mars by Garrett Putman Serviss

Overall it was interesting from a historical perspective. Published in 1898 and we get detailed descriptions of space travel. I read in another review that it is War of the Worlds fanfic, and I agree with that assessment.
