Have not had my heart broken by a book this much in a long, long time. Superb.

This was too mopey for me and Harriet and Wyn were not a likable couple. Liked the Maine setting.

Funny as always, but some of these felt like they ran a few pages too long. My favorites were Dave Matthews, Two Old Nuns, what if I died like Elvis?, and how to look cool in front of teens.

Loved reading this while visiting Maine’s Midcoast. Interesting story but felt slightly flat for whatever reason, and something about the writing style kept me from connecting more with it. Perhaps that was the point.

Such a compelling read with really developed characters. Truly not a lot “happens” but I was so interested in Martha and her experience.

Insightful, hopeful, well researched and well presented. Would have loved more personal stories.

Pacing was off; liked the main character, Navajo representation, and the photography element. Reminded me of Ninth House with the main characters both able to see ghosts and solving a mystery.

A quick read; plot mechanics were well done but I wasn’t sold on the “bad” guys’ motives.
