Stephanie Archer only writes bangers! I adored this book, Hannah and Wyatt are the cutest. This book features Stephanie’s signature brand of sweet spicy and hilarious banter. You can’t help but laugh and smile as you read along. Hannah is very relatable, feeling in a rut and not living your true self because of fear. I loved that Wyatt really saw and understood her. She might’ve wanted a hot girl summer but he knew she was already there and just needed a nudge to live bravely. I enjoyed seeing their friendship and relationship deepen and evolve. They had great chemistry. This book has the vibes of She’s All That but with a better plot/storyline. Highly recommend this book!

Wow, I don’t know why I held off on reading this book because it was so so good! I honestly had a hard time putting this book down. It was such a well balanced romcom- great banter and humor, sweetness, and spice! I loved Avery and Emmett they really were perfectly matched. I appreciated Avery’s independence and Emmett’s desire to take care of everyone. I couldn’t help but smile and laugh along with their antics and jokes with each other. I loved how their relationship evolved from fake dating into true feelings. The dual POV enhanced this by giving the full picture of the character’s perspective. Bonus points for no 3rd act breakup in this book. I absolutely recommend this book- perfect for fans of It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey or A Not So Meet Cute by Meghan Quinn. I am so excited to continue on with this series.

I couldn’t get into this story, I’m a mood reader and it wasn’t the kind of story I could get into at the moment. Hidden identity is one of my least favorite tropes because the relationship is starting off with a lie. I would give this book another chance.

This book felt slower paced than some of the previous ones in the series- both plot-wise and spicy scene-wise. I found this one harder to get into because of that. I still enjoyed the book but wasn’t as invested in the romantic relationships as others in the series. I am still very curious where the storyline will be going on the next book with the attack on Olympus so I can’t wait to read the next one.

I felt like this book could’ve used some more relationship development. Silas and Eve were apart for a good portion of the book which hindered their emotional connection playing out as strongly on the page. While this book has some great spice between them it wasn’t as balanced with the emotional complement as I would have preferred. The ending of this book (like the rest of the series) is rushed and then immediately jumps into an epilogue teasing the next book. Despite these issues I still enjoyed the book. Honorable mention to Bridget who has helped guide the other James brother’s to succeed in their relationships. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick spicy read.

The On a Manhunt series offers up quick and fun romances to read. This one was no different. I enjoyed reading Theo and Mallory’s story. I think they helped balance out each other’s characteristics. I did feel that the ending was rushed so their growth (especially Theo’s) wasn’t as fleshed out as I had hoped. They did open up to each other but I wanted a little more of the emotional connection to be solidified before going into the epilogue. I still enjoyed this book, it definitely offered up some good spice. Despite not being as strong as the previous books I’d still recommend it and will be continuing on with the series.

I really enjoyed this book! I love how it took on a fun new twist to the Vegas wedding trope
instead of the Vegas wedding being the initial driver of the plot it served as the trigger to the third act conflict
. Lindy is very relatable, I’m a list girlie with perfectionist tendencies so I could connect with her struggles. Dex is a babe, he is so sweet and is really full court press on showing Lindy how much he cares. I usually don’t go for love at first sight or instalove tropes but this book had me rooting for them from the start. I am excited to see what happens in book 3!

If you are looking for a fun flirty book this is the one! I couldn’t put Man Hunt down it was so engaging right from the start. I generally am not a fan of the instalove trope (too unrealistic) but I didn’t mind it this time. I liked Bridget and Maverick. Maverick was so sweet and thoughtful, he deeply cared about Bridget’s feelings and wanted to be a safe space for her. Bridget was a relatable character, the reader is quickly able to out themselves in her shoes. I wish we were able to see her baggage addressed more and that the conflict didn’t resolve so quickly. The ending felt rushed. I also wished we got to see justice being served since an investigator was hired. Despite that I still really enjoyed this book. I definitely recommend this for someone looking for a quick fun spicy romance!

I found the pacing of this book to be slower than After Hours on Milagro Street. The pacing made it harder to get into this story. I wanted more angst out of this second chance story, if felt that there wasn’t much getting in Gillian and Nicky’s way other than the pacing of the novel. That being said I liked Gillian and Nicky for each other they were very supportive and were in tune to what the other needed. Bonus points for how great Nicky was with her kids. I did enjoy the book and will say this one still delivers the hotness that the last book did! Fans of After Hours on Milagro Street will enjoy this sequel.

Melanie Harlow continues on as the reigning queen of small town romances. This book delivered. Xander and Kelly are so likeable as individuals and together. Xander is protective and kind. Kelly is down to earth despite her celebrity status. I love how the forced proximity brought them together and got them to open up with each other in ways they hadn’t with anyone else. I also loved the scenes with Austin, Veronica, and the kids. This book is perfect for fans of celebrity x bodyguard romances, forced proximity, and small town vibes. I would absolutely recommend giving this one a read. I can’t wait for book 3!
