I absolutely loved this book, I could not put it down! I freaking love a Vegas wedding/marriage of convenience trope and that combined with a hockey romance is just the cherry on top. Ryan and Rhodes are the best. I love how Ryan really sees Rhodes and makes him feel cared for and safe. Rhodes is the perfect mix of grumpy and sweet just to you. They were both clearly in love! This book also offers up some great banter between Ryan and Rhodes and their friends, it had me laughing out loud a few times. I need everyone to pick this up, what better way to celebrate the NHL post-season?

Name a better way to honor the NHL playoffs than reading hockey smut? Oh wait you can’t! This book is a quick fun read. It will have you smiling along as Collin and Harper banter back and forth. I really enjoyed this book, I am a sucker for a classic let’s be casual except we’re both so in love story. This book could have delivered more on the emotional connection front. That being said I’m definitely excited to continue on with the series. Pick up this book for an easy and fun hockey romance!

This one is for the pop girlies! I absolutely loved this book I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one sitting. I found this to be a much stronger and more compelling novel than Funny You Should Ask. This book has all the vibes of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s breakup circa 2003. I loved Kathleen and Cal- individually and together. I easily found myself rooting for their reunion. I appreciated that Elissa Sussman did Kathleen character right by providing context to her career fallout and the injustice of it all. I think the barriers and baggage that Cal and Kathleen had to work through and overcome were really realistic. Same for the friendship between Kathleen and Harriet. I highly recommend that everyone grab this book!

Despite being sports romance girlie this book fell flat for me. I just couldn’t find myself getting invested in Ford and Millie’s relationship or the story. About halfway through I contemplated DNFing because I was so indifferent. I don’t regret reading the whole book because it’s not a bad romance, it just didn’t have me swooning along with the characters. Based on the synopsis I thought it would’ve been more dramatic and emotional. I think this book would’ve benefitted from discussing the characters past more to help build up that connection. It lacked the depth I prefer in second chance romances. That being said this book is a solid football romance.

Chloe Liese can do no wrong! The Bergman Brothers Series is absolute perfection and an all time favorite of mine. This book is no different. I adore Sebastian and Ziggy. I love how self-assured Ziggy is and how supportive she is to everyone around her. Seeing her growth across the books has been great. As for Sebastian omg talk about some quality pining!! This man had it so bad. While he was too hard on himself, I appreciated how much effort he put into himself and to be a better version he felt was deserving of Ziggy. I loved how sweet their friendship was. As always Chloe’s books make you feel all the feels- as if you are wrapped in a blanket and getting the world’s best hug. Everyone needs to run out and grab this book!

Wow! I read this book on a whim after skimming a brief excerpt and I am so glad I did. This book really delivered. I don’t think I’ve read a book that was so angsty, the tension and chemistry between the characters was so palpable. I loved Luke, he was so quick to defend and support Juliet. Bad boy energy but only to have your back? Hot! My heart broke for Juliet it really felt like she traded one caged life for another. The b-plot felt a little rushed at the end. I could not put this book down, I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an angsty second chance forbidden romance!

It was so fun diving back into Princess Mia’s world! The Princess Diaries series was one of my favorites growing up and I really enjoyed getting to revisit the books. Meg Cabot still captures Mia’s iconic voice in her entries. I loved seeing all of the characters from previous books and how each of them were handling the stress of the pandemic. Despite having a focus on Covid-19, I didn’t find this book difficult to read because of how fun and lighthearted it was. I hope this isn’t the last we get to see of Princess Mia!

I enjoyed this book but was hoping for a little movie more out of the romance.  I found myself wishing for more tension and chemistry in this slow burn. I didn’t find there to be as feel of a connection between the two characters- it seems like Anna never truly got past seeing Eden as her idol. I wanted to find the two on more even footing. I also feel like the 3rd act conflict was very rushed and probably should’ve happened sooner in the book so the resolution could’ve been more solidly formulated. Despite this I still enjoyed this book, I feel like it could make a fun TV adaptation with all of the musical performances.

This book was not for me. I went into this with the impression that this was a book featuring a story focused on modern dating (and it was? but also wasn’t). This book is not fun or light, it is heavy with strong themes of mental illness (including suicide ideation and attempt) and grief. Aside from the content I didn’t enjoy the style of writing. I didn’t care for all dialogue and thoughts being Italicized. I struggled with how the narrator presented the story and found the book to drag. I think my expectations were off going in and would only recommend this to folks who are looking for sad literary fiction.

This book is officially my favorite in the series! Somehow this book manages to deliver on spice and swoony sweetness. I absolutely love Ronan- he is so kind and nurturing he just loves to shower Daisy with affection and to take care of her. I quite easily found myself rooting for Daisy and Ronan despite knowing
her deceased mom had dated him too <\spoiler>. I really enjoyed how much heart this story had, which still being hot. I absolutely recommend everyone to go and read this book!
