I enjoyed this book. The plot was powerful and applicable to people I love’s experiences. It did feel stressful and hard every time I went to listen. Maybe a bit long but certainly a book that makes you remember the experiences of those that might be so different from yours.

Crazy how many striking similarities there are between the nazis ability to somehow condemn drug use while also being so addicted. Reminds me of the US government’s obsession with control over drug users while somehow normalizing the use of white collar drugs. Haunting book that helped me understand a darker side to one of the worlds most dark entities and times.

Interesting anthology about the history of an American icon. I really enjoyed bouncing back and forth between specific details of the hunt and the introspection of the human impact on nature. I also really enjoyed that this book seemed to really honor and celebrate indigenous culture. Let the buffalo roam
