Cute story, nothing against it. I just think I've grown away from young adults, especially set in high school days.

Really beautiful, lovely and fun story about family, dealing with your own baggage while helping people with theirs. And vice versa. Jonathan and Sam had great chemistry. I really felt all the tension between Jonathan and his family (because I, too, get irritated at my family for being overbearing, while also knowing they love me and I love them). I actually found Sam rather inspirational. While authors usually attempt to write their characters in a way that tells us they're not perfect, the characters always feel like they think they are, but not in this book. I truly feel like Sam ans Jonathan are just humans that make mistakes and that's not going to stop just because the book ended.

A really fun, easy read with great and loveable characters, old and new.
Loved seeing the return of Monty and Percy. Loved the relationship Felicity developed between her two companions and the self-discovery she did through them.
A really well-rounded story with some great twists and a satisfying climax, and even more satisfying ending.
A top favourite read of the year for me!
